Specialist Treatment and Ancillary Services for Children, Adolescents, and Adults with Eating Disorders

      Centre for Clinical Interventions

The Centre for Clinical Interventions operates a free, specialist, state-wide public outpatient service for adults and adolescents (16-17 years only) with eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, atypical eating disorders). It is clinical service provided by the Department of Health in Western Australia.

      Princess Margaret Hospital for Children Eating Disorders Program

Princess Margaret Hospital for Children operates a state-wide program comprising outpatient, day program, and inpatient services for children and adolescents with eating disorders aged up to 16 years. It is clinical service provided by the Department of Health in Western Australia.

The Hollywood Clinic operates a private, specialist, inpatient (hospital), day program, and outpatient service for adults and youth (aged 16 to 17 only) with eating disorders.

       Women's Healthworks Body Esteem Program

Women’s Healthworks Body Esteem Program provides guided self-help groups for women aged 18 years and over with eating disorders/problems (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, compulsive overeating/binge-eating). A 20-week peer-facilitated support group is available.

ARAFMI Mental Health Carers and Friends Association Incorporated

ARAFMI is a non-profit community-based organisation that provides information and support to families and friends of people with a mental health issue.
